Rochester, NY's most beloved death metal trio, UNDEATH, have today released their debut full length album, Lesions Of A Different Kind - available to purchase here. Lesions Of A Different Kind is the sound of three lifetimes of subterranean sickness and metal worship coalescing in a severe brain-bludgeoning.

Power metal quartet, JUDICATOR, have today released a new music video for Let There Be Light, taken from their recently released album, Let There Be Nothing. The visually striking video draws from the album's themes of high concept historical adventure centered around the story's protagonist, Belisarius, a humble and renowned Byzantine general. Let There Be Nothing is available on digital and physical formats now.

Swiss extreme metal experimentalists, SCHAMMASCH, will be reissuing their debut album, Sic Lvceat Lvx, in celebration of its ten year anniversary via Prosthetic Records. The album is available to pre-order now, and will be released on January 22, 2021. The album can be streamed on all digital platforms now, including full and original first press master stream below:

Irish thrashers, GAMA BOMB, have released the second single to be taken from their upcoming studio album, Sea Savage. Sheer Khan is streaming everywhere now, and has an accompanying lyric video which can be viewed below. The nautical-themed Sea Savage will be released via Prosthetic Records on December 4; pre-orders are available now.

The most recent signing to the Prosthetic Records roster is Missouri’s SUMMONING THE LICH. The death metal four-piece have today released a brand new single with an accompanying music video, for a blistering track titled Descend. Listen to Descend via Spotify, Apple Music and Bandcamp.

On signing to Prosthetic Records, the band had the following to say:

Merging blistering black metal speed and trudging death metal menace with ruinous technical prowess, the quartet’s new track, Descend, ushers in an exciting new chapter for the band. SUMMONING THE LICH’s sound is one rooted in musical dexterity, abrasion and fantasy, lyrically drawing from the best elements of roleplay game favourites such as Dungeons & Dragons and Magic The Gathering.

Describing the new single, the band offered some insight on the song:

“Our single, Descend, is a cautionary tale on the dangers of abusing those who use magic and the true horrors that await within their world. With this song we centered the composition around the drudging chorus - to really help the listeners feel the plunge into the abyss. Danny Tilson did a killer job shooting and editing our video for the track and Mitch Myers from Orphan House was our vfx wizard. Our artist, Austin Phillips nails the artwork for the single and really captured the climax of this tale visually.”

The band's rise from underground hopefuls to playing live dates alongside bands such as Origin and Beneath The Massacre - and several stops on the Summer Slaughter tour - to finding a new home in Prosthetic Records is just the start of their journey, which will continue in 2021 with the promise of yet more new material.

UK death metal trailblazers, VENOM PRISON, have today released their new album, Primeval - available here. Chicago's VARAHA have appeared on WGN nationally, as well as locally on NBC 5 in support of the Save Our Stages initiatiive - the national effort to assist America's live music venues. VARAHA created a haunting, cinematic video for track Irreparable, taken from the band's 2019 album A Passage For Lost Years.

Black metal rock'n'rollers, WORMWITCH have released a video of a live recording of their track Lord of Chains. The track is taken from their 2019 album, Heaven That Dwells Within - and also features on an upcoming cassette release titled Septentrion Revival. The cassete is a resurrection of WORMWITCH's earliest works - compiled and remastered for cassette tape and featuring a new layout by vocalist Robin Harris. Watch the video for Lord of Chains below.
